SAVE GIRL CHILD

 The existence of human life on the earth is impossible without the equal participation of both women and men. They are equally responsible for the survival of the human race on the earth. They are also liable for the development and growth of a nation. 

There are various evils in our society; one of which happens to be the desire to have a boy. In Indian society, everyone wants an ideal mother, sister, wife, and daughter. But they never want that girl to be their blood relative. Besides, there are other social evils in society that force many parents to avoid having a girl child. These other social evils are dowry deaths, female foeticide, and some others.

In most of the fields, women are equal contenders but still due to the orthodox beliefs’ men are mostly preferred. Girls have proven themselves equal to men in every field. And due to their hard work and dedication, it is even recognised.

For saving girl child the government has taken many initiatives and launched many campaigns. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (Save the girl child) is the most recent initiative started by the government to actively encourage people to save the girl. Apart from that, many NGOs, companies, corporate groups, human rights commission run various campaign to save girl child

The Role of a girl is very much discussed in and around the world with the adverse conditions prevailing on them. Humans always gave priority to the Males because of their Muscular strength and engagement in guarding their folks. This may be a significant cause for the backwardness in our society and the world as till 1908, Women were not given the right to Vote with the indefinite strike by the later, to fight the then rulers of Russia and achieved and celebrated worldwide annually.

Some major steps we can use the save girl child can be, gender inequality should be rooted out and massive awareness programs to be initiated. Eradication of poverty will lead to the lesson of the Dowry menace, and the government had already banned.

If we educate the girl, she can live on her terms, and may end the major havoc and practice. Making women for the empowerment of themselves and girl in particular. Significant threats in public and society on the girls to be eradicated with stringent measure and massive awareness programs and strict rules already framed and strict implementation is the key. Safety and security systems for girls at all the public domains and finally, Family plays a crucial role in supporting the family in and outside the home.

To make sure a girl child is safe, we need to destroy the mentality of the mass that thinks a girl's only place is in the kitchen and their opinions do not matter. To bring about a change in this frame of mind, social campaigns to protect and save girl child must be carried out. 

To summarise, A girl child deserves a life where she is treated as a equal to a boy. And she should be loved and respected like others. She should participate in the development and growth of the nation equally because to have a daughter is one of the most beautiful gifts the world has to offer .
